Very fun and loaded with sugary sweet treats these soft, caramel streaked cookies are a great decorating project to take on with little ones.
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup milk chocolate chips or callets
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
1/2 cup M&M’S® (optional)
1 cup caramel sauce (for garnish)
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and evaporated milk together until creamy.
3. In a large bowl, thoroughly combine flour, baking soda, salt and brown sugar ingredients.
4. Use a tablespoon to create generous drop cookies on a sheet pan.
Garnish as desired with chocolate chips, walnuts and candies.
5. Bake for 12-15 mins.
6. Allow to cool completely, drizzle with caramel sauce.
