Spice and garlic awaken taste buds in this super smooth tomato-based sauce.
2 lb mussels
1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
2 Tbsp olive oil
garlic to taste
splash of white wine
pinch of red pepper flakes
1. In a large saucepan on medium high heat, sauté garlic in oil until golden.
2. Add mussels and pepper flakes. Sauté for 1 min.
3. Add white wine. Sauté for 1 min.
4. Add sauce. Simmer for 5 mins.
