Cooking over a fire at high heat results in a char that delivers astounding flavour to a familiar veggie.

INGREDIENTS

1 small head broccoli
2 Tbsp olive oil
salt and black pepper, to taste
1 clove garlic, minced
1 lemon wedge

METHOD

1. Cut the broccoli into small pieces.
2. In a mixing bowl combine the broccoli, garlic, olive oil, salt and black pepper until the florets are completely coated.
3. Place florets on a hot grill (flat top) and mix continuously for about 3 to 4 minutes. High heat is required for the char.
4. Remove the broccoli and sprinkle with lemon juice.

Yield 1 serving
